Woke up and had some breakfast. A rather slow morning for everyone. Magnus had finally had a good night’s sleep. 🙂 A few of us feel an upcoming cold but hope that passes rather quickly and unnoticeable.

I went out on my scooter to find myself a souvenir coffee mug, that’s what I collect from my trips. I had seen a shop earlier with a lot of wooden items and started to look for it. I was hoping for a mug out of bamboo but found one made of coconut instead. Of course, I paid an over price in regards to its value but I’m satisfied with it.

Back at Coco Garden Sara asked if there was anyone who wanted to go to the neighbor hotel and use their pool and it ended up being her, me, Kristoffer, and Stefan. Nice to swim in fresh water for a change.

We spent a few hours in the pool. Tobias, Annors, and Kasper joined later on. Just roaming around in the water and talking.

When we had become raisins we went back to the bungalows and most of us headed out to the food market Phantip night food market just as it opened. It’s just like a food court but with mostly food “trucks” (based on bicycle wagons). Just walk around and buy a stick with fried chicken, cooked fish, full pad Thai, or why not a chicken kebab wrap (really nice!). We got accompanied by Natasha (the Russian girl from last night) and when everyone had eaten, she, Victor, me, Anna and John went looking for a bar with a pool table. Finally, we found one (with expensive drinks) and after three games where my team won all the matches (we mixed the teams) we felt done for the evening and headed back.

The evening progressed slowly with just some internet catch-up and relaxing. Some guys had booked a massage and it was reported to be nice. Quite windy and I’m hoping for some rain. I saw a couple of lightning strikes on the next island, Ko Samui, though no thunder.

My dinner consisted of garlic bread and a banana split. Lovely!

Now just finish these notes, upload pictures, and then off to bed. Another bathing excursion tomorrow.
