Today was tourist day. Some went on a “Royal Palace, Buddha-statues”-run with the guide Annors. I jumped into a cab and headed to Chinatown. First, a “small” mall called Old Siam Plaza, with a lot of small shops with mainly clothes but also the usual random stuff. Then I walked towards a market that is called Sampeng Lane. I’m not sure if I made it there but I got into a street with shops on both sides and the space to walk on differed between 0,5 to 2 meters. During my half hour walk, I saw maybe three people with other background than Asia.

Jumped into another cab and headed back to MBK Center for some final items. Got myself a suitcase so I can bring home the suit without forcing it into my backpack. I brought the bag back to the hotel, relaxed a bit, took a shower, and then headed to MBK again to do the final fitting of the suit. Teamed up with Anna and John as the times before. My suit fitted as it should, John had a couple of remarks. I grabbed mine and headed back to the hotel.

At 19 we had a table reserved for the whole group at Italian Osteria, as this was the last night (sort of) in Bangkok. Fantastic environment, great service, and amazing food. A tiny bit more pricey than our lunch yesterday but I can understand why.

After the appetizer, main course, and dessert, we headed back to the hotel for a last night’s sleep before we tomorrow evening head back to Scandinavia.
