Up bright and early, nine o clock (though Anna and John were up even earlier, as usual…).

Pack the last stuff, get breakfast, and then check out. Saying goodbye to the owners and the fantastic personnel. Five of us took a taxi and the rest took the scooters. The cab driver wasn’t really happy with the fare. Quite far, probably no return, and rather cheap. The car had to fight really hard on the slopes even though we weren’t that heavily loaded. The scooters caught up on us around halfway, trailing in a single file.

Upon arrival and check-in, they gave us a welcome drink consisting of iced tea, really delicious. We split up in three cabins, Anna and Jonte in their own; Tobias, Annors, Daniel, Magnus, and Kasper in one, and the rest of us in a third.

The two later cabins were 4-men huts and they just carried in one respectively two extra mattresses and mounted mosquito nets in the roof.

The cabins and the surroundings are magnificent. No AC and the water pressure is as usual not good but for two nights in this fantastic environment, we’ll manage.

Some bathing on the beach, Stefan got stung by a small jelly fish and suddenly everyone got a bit more sceptical. This small concern makes the swimming not as joyful as it was the last time we were here (luckily unknowing).

Some lunch and the chilling on the porch. A few headed up to the restaurant above us for some drinks, Sara and Kristoffer went on a shopping trip into town. I stayed in the cabin watching some series and just relaxing. Still quite hot and the wind hit the porch just perfectly to keep the heat manageable.

Later on, we went down to the beach restaurant for some dinner. Watching an amazing red moon rising over the horizon.

The evening ended in games and small talk. Time to get to bed in the warm cabin, under a mosquito net and with no AC. Let’s see how that goes.

EDIT: Just before going to bed a thunderstorm hit south of the island so we stayed up watching the lightning strike on the other side of the island. Finally, some rain hit us as well, a nice sound to fall asleep to.
