Still not used to the heat during the night. I sleep okay but when if I wake up it’s hard to return to sleep.

Really slow day for a few of us. Breakfast and then the neighbor hotel pool for like three hours. Late lunch at this place Lin-Da that was found and recommended by Anna and John. The food was great but my dessert looked better than it tasted. Seems they got a better batch yesterday.

A day with very intensive resting. I finally had use for all the video I’ve brought, since the flight. Enjoying the cool breeze on the wooden deck with a TV show on the phone. Quite nice!

Dinner together with a fantastic soccer match! Was hoping for like 0-1, but 0-3! And since I didn’t have a full understanding of what different scores meant for the group it was quite chaotic in the end in regards to whether Mexico had advanced or not.

The whole group watched the game (with different amounts of interest) and it was a cheerful mood afterward. Now off we went to the Full Moon Party. A full taxi on one steep hill had to break just before it got to the top. After the stop, it couldn’t start on the slope but had to back down to start over.

The Full Moon Party occurs every month (on the full moon…) and it’s basically a 500-meter-long beach with the ocean on one side and bars and restaurants on the other, pumping out music and lights. Drunk (and high) people everywhere. I’m happy that I brought earplugs, it was quite loud. The most popular drink was a bucket, containing a bottle of liquor and some soda. Just mix it in the bucket and drink it with straws.

We split up and my group just walked across the beach, left to right, and ended up at The Rock, where we had lunch earlier this week. Nice view of the whole beach and the party.

After an hour we’ve had enough and started to make our way back to the taxi queue. Almost everyone met up and we headed back. A few went on to some bar, I’m sitting on Annors porch, writing this post, listening to the waves.

Short after the publication the bar-gang came back cause the bar had closed.
