Gameday! The first thing I had to deal with when waking up this morning was that Facebook hadn’t been able to publish my post and upload the pictures from yesterday. After a couple of retries, I managed to get it up, though later during the day it published a second time. I’ll have to sort that out later on.

Skipped breakfast and headed straight for the pool. Partly cloudy so the temperature flexed quite a bit. After a couple of hours in the water and on the sunbeds, we had some lunch.

At 16 we went to another minigolf course. They had opened just a couple of weeks ago, with a lovely guy from Switzerland. A bit different holes than in Sweden, the ball could actually bounce and the walls were made out of brick so bouncing against them was quite hard to predict.

Fun though and after we summed up the score and got ourselves a group picture Annors handed over a gift from the group to Kristoffer since it was his birthday. We actually sang as well.

It was quite hot to play even though you were mostly in the shadow so as soon as we got back to Dreamland Resort we jumped in the pool.

Spoke with three people from Sweden that were here regularly. Apparently, their favorite bar had closed a couple of years ago. I mentioned that we were crew at Dreamhack and one father said it was too bad his son wasn’t with him this time, he would have loved to talk to us. Perhaps a future participant. Erik, do you get a recruitment bonus for that as well? 😉

At eight I left for a bar at the end of the beach for the upcoming game. Not the best burger but the others were happy with their food. The game was as nerve-wracking as it could be but most of the bar was cheering upon the final whistle. Time to find another sports bar in Thong Sala.

Tomorrow we’re leaving for Koh Tao.
