Slow morning, up at half past nine for some breakfast and then back to the villa for some intensive relaxing, TV series and podcasts. I went down to the beach to experience the waves but the trip to the beach itself (in the water and across some rocks) got more exciting than the waves. Rain followed so back to the villa.

Most of the gang took a walk to a restaurant halfway into the town (up and down the hills) that a few visited yesterday. Our Thai food expert Annors gave it 6 out of 5 noodles so it was worthy of a second visit (despite the long walk). Me and Mattias (who have been recovering from tonsillitis for the last couple of days) just ate in the resort restaurant.

When the others came back we made up plans for the evening, at 17 we got picked up by a taxi and we headed into Sairee for some “pub crawl”.

We went from bar to bar, played some beer pong (Sara and Anna beat Kristoffer and John. I beat Kasper, who in all fairness drank Smirnoff, I drank Coke), watched a couple of guys doing poi with fire, found some food and then took a cab home again.

When I got back to the room I looked out the balcony and saw that one of the mattresses from the sunbeds had been blown onto the railing. I had to confirm with Magnus that he hadn’t moved it and he just returned the question. Quite windy earlier.

Tomorrow we head back to Koh Phangan for another three nights before we go to Bangkok again.
