In roughly 12 hours, the plane will hopefully take off from a runway at Arlanda airport, heading to Warsaw. I think I’ve got everything covered, at least good enough.

When I was a little boy and went on a hike or a camp with the scouts, the leaders kept telling us, to pack in smaller bags within our backpacks, it’s easier to find stuff that way. I didn’t listen then, but I have started to use it now as a grown-up. It IS easier to find stuff and to move around stuff to make it fit the bag better.

With everything packed and the apartment in order for the cats to enjoy themselves for two weeks, it’s just a few hours wait before hitting the bed and getting some sleep. The taxi arrives at 5:30 in the morning, not my favorite time of the day.

I’m really looking forward to this trip, but I will miss my cats. I’m so grateful that Marianne and Bengt can look after them while I’m gone. And, I get the feeling that Susan Sto Helit knows I’m leaving, she has been especially clingy the last couple of days, and sat on my backpack, as stating “you’re not going anywhere!”

I’ll be traveling with LOT Polish Airlines and in some weird case you would want to track the flights, these are the flight numbers:

  • Stockholm – Warsaw, LO456
  • Warsaw – Miami, LO029
“You’re not going anywhere!”
