I managed to sleep all the way until nine. Possibly helped by the bar music going on to at least half past one and no workers in the morning since it’s Saturday.

Took a really slow morning by watching Örgryte-Brage and the F1 qualifiers. During the second half of the soccer game, I went down and had some breakfast. Today was a busy sports day so at 12 I went up to the pool and watched Frölunda – Leksand, where over 1000 LIF supporters attended and basically owned the arena. Great that the team could give the fans a win.

Not that many times I get to watch a hockey game in the sun from the pool.

After the game, I headed down to the beach. It was a bit tricky to interpret the warnings because they said both double red = no swimming and yellow = medium hazard. With the help of Google translate one of the hotel staff confirmed that different sections of the beach could have different warnings. So I headed down, fingers crossed, and I was lucky! Yellow and purple mean medium hazard and dangerous marine life. So, be free to swim, but be cautious.

It was cloudy and not that warm weather so I jumped straight into the ocean and played around in the waves. I also sat down in the sand rather far up on the beach and filmed when the waves washed over me. That filled my pockets with sand which was harder to get out than I expected.

Because of the weather I just spent an hour at the beach before heading back to the hotel.

Bad weather so I’m going back to the hotel

After resting a while in my magnificent hotel room I set off to the restaurant I was recommended last night. When I arrived at la LeGGenda I got greeted by a nice Italian man. I had some bruschette al forno for starters followed by a pesto pizza. I love pasta with pesto, but I don’t think I ever tried it on pizza before. I loved it!

Went for a walk looking for some final souvenirs and to get the food settled. Landed at the same bar as yesterday. Read some news and then back to the hotel to test and pack all my stuff, see if I need another suitcase. Tomorrow I’m going to Fort Lauderdale to see the Packers game.

The window just above the logo is my “living room” and the two to the left are the bedroom.
